Tune in: Describing our culture in songs

Music speaks louder than words. What's the pace, rhythm and sound of working at Rituals? From the well-known words of “Wannabe” to the captivating melody of “Happy” – these songs capture the essence of our workplace. Explore the different songs picked by Rituals’ employees.

Fanny: Ain't no stoppin' us now, we're on the move

This upbeat choice by Fanny Travalleur, Head of Training in France, shows the dynamic side of Rituals. The people who work here have a relentless drive to take on challenges and find solutions together. Like McFadden & Whitehead sing: “Ain’t no stoppin’ us now”.

Moises: You'll always be my ritual

Moises Rodes, a Shop Manager from Spain, didn’t pick this song just for the name. “Ritual” by Rita Ora is a burst of energy and joy. It embodies the positive vibe of our brand. Moises: “We have so much fun listening to that song.”

Ana: This is where you wanna be

Assistant Shop Manager Ana Trancoso from Spain has picked a song “that shows that diversity is magical". She's talking about The Greatest Show, by the Greatest Showman cast. “Like the song, we too can make dreams come true and brighten people’s day.”

Mira: I'll tell you what I want, what I really really want

Imagine walking into a room where the opening chords of “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls are playing. Instantly, there’s an energy shift that says: ‘OK, let’s go’. This song, chosen by Mira, our Senior Global Team Lead Social & Influencer from Amsterdam, is more than a catchy pop hit. It’s about being bold and getting after what you want. Like in the song, we encourage each other to voice our desires and go after our goals with determination.

Josefina & Martin: Clap along if you feel like that's what you wanna do

Josefina and Martin picked "Happy" by Pharrell Williams as a feel-good anthem for Rituals. Josefina Lindqvist, Senior Area Manager in Sweden, picked it because "it shows the spirit of togetherness and happiness that defines Rituals". Martin Thu, Head of Training in the Nordics, adds that this song is also about overcoming obstacles. Martin: "Put it on and try to be in a bad mood afterwards. It's impossible."

Nicol: Come taste the sunsweet berries of the Earth

Our commitment to care for the environment and people comes to life with the song picked by Nicol Burzawa, Shop Manager in Poland: “Colors of the Wind" from Pocahontas. “It's a reminder that we're all part of a never-ending circle, connected to each other and the earth.”

Amarah & Sara: We make each other strong

“It’s a bit of a cheesy choice, I know!” Amarah, Sales Advisor from the UK, refers to the High School Musical hit “We’re all in this together”. “But it does show how we work together on achieving targets as a team.” Sara Sinning Dalsgaard, Shop Manager in Denmark, agrees: “It reminds me of the feeling after a good and busy day with my team on the shop floor”.

Tasnim - I'll be there for you - 'cause you're there for me too

Tasnim Choudhury, Retail Activation Coordinator in UKIE, brings in the timeless theme song from Friends, especially the iconic “I’ll be there for you" part. “I feel like whatever department you’re from, everyone’s there for each other!”
