Senior Global HR Operations Specialist

As Senior Global HR Operations Specialist, you help HR Operations teams across our countries work in a consistent, practical and effective way. You combine specialist knowledge within global projects / project teams with hands-on country support and turn global standards into guidance, tools and actions teams can use in their day-to-day work.

Around half of your role is focused on subject matter expertise in assigned HR Operations topics and systems. The other half is dedicated to supporting countries with global frameworks, strong operational foundations and readiness for change. You work closely with country HR Operations teams, project leads and global stakeholders to understand operational needs and help make improvements happen.

YOUR ROLE

• Act as a subject matter expert for assigned HR Operations topics and systems, providing clear and practical operational advice.
• Maintain and share specialist knowledge and contribute to processes, guidelines, tools and training materials.
• Support country HR Operations teams in applying global frameworks, standards and ways of working, while taking local requirements into account.
• Help countries strengthen their HR Operations foundations, including process clarity, documentation, controls, roles and operational readiness.
• Support the implementation of HR Operations initiatives and changes through readiness checks, communication, knowledge transfer and follow-up.
• Work with project leads, global teams and country stakeholders to identify operational gaps, dependencies and actions needed for successful adoption.
• Analyse operational information and feedback and turn findings into practical improvements.
• Contribute to consistent HR Operations processes, quality standards, checklists and tools across countries.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and support consistent execution within the global HR Operations community.
• Contribute specialist expertise and operational support to selected projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

You are an experienced HR Operations specialist who enjoys combining expertise with practical support. You build strong working relationships, understand different country needs and know how to translate a global framework into something that works in practice. You are structured and analytical, but also flexible and comfortable working in an international environment. On top of this:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in HR Operations, HR process improvement or a related specialist field.
• Specialist knowledge of HR Operations processes and frameworks, with a good understanding of related HR areas and the wider business.
• Experience with Workday.
• Hands-on experience in gap analysis and improving HR workflows.
• Understanding of country differences and their impact on the practical application of global standards.
• Experience working with cross-functional and international stakeholders.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A hands-on, structured and flexible way of working.
