SharePoint & Collaboration IT Architect
Are you excited to be part of our dynamic team where business meets technology? Driving Rituals' growth through innovative tools within our Tech & Data department.
Share your talents
As SharePoint & Collaboration IT Architect, you are responsible for helping shape, govern and continuously improve the Microsoft 365 collaboration landscape at Rituals, with a strong focus on SharePoint, Teams and file services. You help define the future vision for how Rituals stores, shares, archives and manages information in a reliable, scalable and user-friendly way.
In this role, you combine strong technical knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams with a clear understanding of business collaboration, information lifecycle management and operational support. You act as a trusted specialist for file services, Teams-connected SharePoint sites, governance principles, archiving, permissions, migration topics and structural improvements across the Microsoft 365 environment.
You understand how users collaborate in practice and know how to translate business needs into practical, secure and future-proof SharePoint and Teams solutions. Whether it concerns large document libraries, external sharing, Teams structures, ownership models, metadata, lifecycle rules or archiving scenarios, you ensure that the environment remains understandable, controlled and aligned with the long-term collaboration strategy.
You will also play a key role in supporting projects that touch SharePoint, Teams and file services. You help project teams understand platform possibilities and limitations, challenge solution designs where needed and turn recurring issues such as sync problems, search limitations, path length challenges, permissions complexity and uncontrolled data growth into structural improvements.
In this role, you will:
- Define the vision for SharePoint, Teams and file services.
- Own SharePoint, Teams and file collaboration topics.
- Translate business needs into scalable Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Support governance across SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
- Advise projects on solution design and platform limitations.
- Support migrations, restructures and post-go-live improvements.
- Contribute to archiving, retention and information lifecycle management.
- Improve large and complex SharePoint environments.
- Identify and resolve recurring SharePoint and Teams issues.
- Drive simplification and standardization across Microsoft 365.
- Work with stakeholders and suppliers to improve solutions.
- Support the move from legacy file services and Box to Microsoft 365.
- Maintain clear documentation, guidelines and decision principles.
- Partner with Security, IT, Service Desk and business teams.
- Contribute to the long-term collaboration strategy.
Bring all of you
For this role, we are looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 professional with strong knowledge of SharePoint, Teams and file services. You understand how collaboration platforms are used in daily business operations and know how to create structure, governance and long-term control in a fast-growing digital environment.
You are analytical, structured and service-minded. You do not only solve individual issues — you want to understand the root cause and improve the way Rituals manages information across SharePoint, Teams and related services. You are comfortable switching between technical discussions with engineers and suppliers and functional conversations with business stakeholders, project managers and key users.
Most of all, you bring the ownership, curiosity and continuous improvement mindset needed to make collaboration simpler, safer and more effective for everyone at Rituals.
To be successful in this role, you:
- Bring 5+ years of relevant IT experience, preferably in Microsoft 365.
- Have strong knowledge of SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive and file services.
- Understand SharePoint architecture, libraries, sites, hubs and permissions.
- Have experience with governance, lifecycle management and archiving.
- Understand Teams-connected SharePoint sites and ownership models.
- Have experience with file migrations, restructures or improvements.
- Understand common SharePoint limitations and sync behaviour.
- Have knowledge of Entra ID, security groups and access management.
- Have experience with Microsoft Purview; this is a plus.
- Have knowledge of ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence.
- Are experienced with external suppliers and Microsoft partners.
- Understand ITIL, especially Incident, Problem and Change Management.
- Are comfortable facilitating workshops and challenging solutions.
