With Supply Chain you are at the core of our operations. Simplicity and innovation come together to shape the future of our brand through smart solutions.
Share your talents
As Category Demand Planner, you will join our Demand Planning team within Supply Chain and take ownership of the end-to-end demand plan for an assigned category. Your goal is to create the best possible forecast and support the timely, optimal availability of Rituals products across our markets and lines of business. You will manage the ongoing assortment and commercial demand plan, including volume, cannibalisation and substitution assumptions, while leading the commercial planning cadence as part of the S&OP cycle. Working at the intersection of Supply Chain, Innovation and our business teams, you will bring stakeholders together, challenge assumptions and translate data into clear decisions. Alongside running the planning process, you will help shape new ways of working and embed them into future ERP and planning tools. This is an opportunity to combine analytical depth, commercial understanding and process improvement in a role that directly influences our availability, inventory and business performance.
In this role, you will:
- Own and continuously improve the category demand plan for agreed markets and categories, including volume, cannibalisation and substitution assumptions.
- Lead the commercial planning cadence within the S&OP cycle and ensure that assumptions, opportunities and risks are aligned across functions.
- Advise and challenge business stakeholders using strategic analyses, forecast insights and a clear understanding of commercial priorities.
- Drive the monthly demand validation meeting, including preparation, data validation, S&OP reporting and the follow-up of agreed actions.
- Monitor forecast accuracy, turn learnings into improvements and support the design and implementation of new demand planning processes, data flows and decision points in ERP and planning tools.
Bring all of you
You are an experienced planning professional who combines strong analytical skills with commercial awareness and a genuine interest in improving how things work. You feel comfortable navigating a complex stakeholder environment and know how to build trusted relationships while constructively challenging assumptions and decisions. You bring structure to large amounts of information, translate data into practical actions and take ownership from planning through execution. With your curious and pragmatic mindset, you are equally comfortable managing the operational demand plan and contributing to future process and system design. You communicate clearly, remain focused on the bigger picture and enjoy using technology, data and new ideas to create more accurate and agile planning.
To be successful in this role, you:
- Have 3 to 5 years or more of relevant experience in Demand Planning, S&OP, Promotion Planning or Commercial Planning, preferably within retail, FMCG or consumer goods.
- Have strong analytical skills and can translate complex data, planning variables and forecast performance into clear insights and actions.
- Are confident working with a wide range of stakeholders and can influence decisions without formal authority.
- Have experience with ERP or planning-tool implementations or upgrades, such as RELEX (ideal), SAP, Oracle, o9, Kinaxis or Blue Yonder.
- Have advanced Excel skills and practical experience with data and reporting; knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Python or AI applications is a plus.
