Share your talents

As International Brand Trainer - Wholesale & Travel Retail, you will be part of the Wholesale & Travel Retail department at Rituals’ Central Head Office, located on the canals of Amsterdam. Within the Global Brand Education team, you will work closely with the Brand Education Project Specialist and report to the Brand Education Manager.

Together, the team is responsible for developing and implementing innovative training programmes, inspiring content and practical toolboxes. In addition, you will help build a strong international Brand Education community, with the shared ambition of positioning Rituals worldwide as the number one wellbeing brand within multi-branded environments.

As the International Brand Trainer, you are a global ambassador of the Rituals culture. You bring our brand philosophy, products and way of working to life across different markets, ensuring that teams around the world can create a consistent and inspiring Rituals experience. You are the connecting link between Head Office and the international markets. Both literally and figuratively, you are the eyes and ears of the field. Around 20 to 25 times per year, you will travel to different countries to train local field teams, including Rituals Beauty Advisors, Trainers and Account Managers as well as Beauty Advisors from key retail partners such as Heinemann, Douglas & Sephora. This includes training within Travel Retail and in new wholesale markets where no local trainer is yet in place.

This full-time role (40 hours) offers a dynamic balance of approximately 40% training and 60% developing, improving and creating training content. It is exactly this combination that makes the role unique: with one foot in the field and the other in the development of Rituals’ global Brand Education strategy. Within the Brand Education team, you play a central role. You test new training programmes in practice, gather valuable insights from the field and translate them into concrete improvements for training programmes, content and toolboxes. In this way, you represent the voice of the field and have direct impact on the further development of Rituals’ global training approach.

In this role, you will:

  • Delivering online and on-site brand, AXE and Train-the-Trainer training programmes
  • Acting as the key trainer for the Travel Retail business worldwide
  • Training new Wholesale markets where no local trainer is currently in place
  • Training and developing Rituals field teams, including local Rituals Trainers and Account Managers in international markets
  • Developing, optimizing and adapting existing training materials into inspiring and practically applicable training programmes, based on feedback, results and observations from the field
  • Strategically coordinating training requests and aligning with a variety of international stakeholders
  • Creating inspiring content for platforms such as Your Rituals and acting as the face of learning video content

Bring all of you

Bring all of you

Your mission is to inspire, develop and make Beauty Advisors, retail partners and Rituals field teams around the world fall in love with Rituals. Because when they grow, they create meaningful customer experiences every single day and bring our mission to life across the world.

You are an inspiring trainer and strong storyteller, able to translate complex information into training that engages, activates and creates impact. You believe in leading by example: you feel just as comfortable on the shop floor as you do in front of a group, and you know how to coach and develop teams in practice. You feel at home both at Head Office and in the field, and it is exactly this variety that gives you energy. By staying closely connected to the business, you can spot development opportunities, while at Head Office you enjoy collaborating with colleagues on powerful training programmes, presentations and learning content.

You have a strong eye for detail and enjoy making content not only relevant and effective, but also visually attractive. In this way, you help create training experiences that are not only informative, but also deliver a true wow experience. In addition, you have a strong feel for commerce and understand how to boost productivity on the shop floor. You are culturally sensitive and able to move with ease across different markets, cultures and stakeholder groups. You work independently, maintain overview during busy periods and switch smoothly between training delivery, content creation, stakeholder management and the further development of our global Brand Education approach.

To be successful in this role, you:

  • Have at 6+ years of relevant work experience in training, (beauty) retail or a comparable international environment.
  • Communicate excellently in English, both verbally and in writing; additional languages are considered a plus.
  • Enjoy travelling (+/- 25 times per year, mainly within Europe) and feel at home in an international working environment.
  • Have experience in developing training materials, (learning) content and/or inspiring presentations, for example in PowerPoint and/or Canva.
  • Are a strong stakeholder manager, work independently and know how to set the right priorities.
  • Are curious, have a growth mindset and use feedback to continuously improve both yourself and our training programmes.
  • Have experience as a Brand Trainer, Sales Advisor or Account Manager within retail, beauty, hospitality or a premium brand (strong plus).
  • Have experience with design thinking (also a plus).

At Rituals, we are committed to care for everyone and strive to create a diverse workplace where all employees belong and have equal opportunities to succeed. Read more about our commitment here https://careers.rituals.com/en-NL/work-with-heart-and-soul/diversity-and-inclusion/.
