Our Innovation department is where ideas are transformed into products that surprise and inspire millions of customers around the world. From identifying future trends to developing new collections and bringing them to life, this team is at the heart of how Rituals continues to innovate and elevate the everyday.
About the team
You'll become part of our New Product Development (NPD) team, consisting of 75 passionate professionals. Working in close partnership with Supply Chain, Sourcing, Packaging, Quality, Marketing and IT, the team ensures that every new product moves seamlessly from concept to launch. It's a highly collaborative, international environment where craftsmanship, innovation and continuous improvement go hand in hand.
Your role
As our Senior NPD Project Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping and continuously improving our global New Product Development process. Your focus is on creating structure, driving operational excellence and enabling our Innovation teams to do what they do best: develop meaningful products that contribute to making Rituals the world's leading wellbeing brand.
You'll act as the driving force behind process optimisation across our NPD landscape, bringing people, systems and ways of working together. A major part of your role will be leading the implementation of a new global Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform, replacing existing Outlook and Excel-based ways of working with a future-proof solution that supports our international growth.
With your strong project management skills and ability to connect stakeholders across functions, you'll ensure our product development process becomes even more scalable, efficient and ready for the future.
Your responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead the implementation of our new global PLM system, ensuring successful adoption across the organisation.
- Define and drive the roadmap for continuous improvement of our global NPD process.
- Analyse existing workflows and design smarter, more scalable ways of working that support future growth.
- Identify opportunities for optimisation and translate them into practical improvements that create lasting impact.
- Improve the quality and governance of product and process data, enabling consistent and first-time-right product launches worldwide.
- Act as the Centre of Excellence for project management methodologies, processes and systems within the Innovation department.
- Align cross-functional stakeholders and create clarity throughout complex projects.
Bring all of you
You're someone who naturally brings structure to complexity and enjoys improving the way organisations work. You combine analytical thinking with a pragmatic mindset and know how to bring people along when driving change. You thrive in cross-functional environments, communicate with ease across different stakeholder groups and enjoy building sustainable processes that make teams more effective.
You also bring:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in project management, process improvement or operational excellence, preferably within product development, retail or FMCG.
- Proven experience leading complex cross-functional projects independently.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across all organisational levels.
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems or comparable business systems is a strong advantage.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience working with product master data.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with project management and data management tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
