Sr. Reward Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Reward Specialist to join our enthusiastic and entrepreneurial HR team. In this role, you will act as a trusted reward expert and strategic partner for our global Retail Operations organisation. Leveraging your reward expertise, analytical capabilities and business acumen, you will help shape and continuously evolve Rituals’ global reward proposition.

Working in a highly international environment, you will lead complex reward analyses and initiatives across multiple markets, supporting business growth, talent attraction and employee engagement. From compensation structures and incentive programmes to benefits and reward governance, you translate market insights and business priorities into scalable and future-proof reward solutions.

Rewards is one of the Centres of Expertise within the global HR team. You will report directly to the Director Global Compensation & Benefits and work closely with senior HR and business leaders across our international organisation.

YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Lead complex compensation and benefits benchmarking analyses to ensure Rituals maintains a competitive and future-proof reward proposition.
• Act as a key driver of the global annual performance and salary review process, ensuring consistency, governance and business alignment across markets.
• Lead strategic reward projects and provide expert guidance on reward-related business challenges and organisational changes.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior HR and business leaders, influencing reward decisions through data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Develop reward frameworks, policies and governance principles that support business growth and employee experience.
• Build advanced reward models and scenarios to support strategic workforce and investment decisions.
• Translate complex reward data into compelling insights, recommendations and executive-level presentations for senior leadership and Board discussions.
• Manage relationships with external reward partners, survey providers and pension specialists.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation within reward practices, processes and tools.
• Support the implementation, communication and adoption of global reward initiatives across the organisation.

• You have approximately 7 to 10+ years of relevant experience in Reward, Compensation & Benefits or Total Rewards within an international environment.
• You have experience working in complex multinational organisations with exposure to multiple regions, including Europe, the UK, MEA, APAC and/or North America.
• Experience within Retail, Luxury Retail, Consumer Goods, Hospitality or other customer-facing international organisations is strongly preferred.
• You are a trusted advisor who operates independently and confidently influences decision-making at senior stakeholder level.
• You combine strong reward expertise, analytical capabilities and commercial awareness to lead complex reward projects and translate data into actionable business insights.
• You are experienced in reward modelling, global reward frameworks and navigating local market requirements, always balancing business needs, governance and compliance.
• You build strong relationships across functions, cultures and countries, handling confidential information with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
• You thrive in a fast-growing international environment and continuously seek opportunities to challenge, improve and innovate reward practices.
• You reside in the Netherlands and are eligible to work here.

Rituals offers a challenging role in an ambitious and collaborative HR environment, where you will have direct impact on one of our key business functions. You will work closely with the CFO/CHRO, the relevant MT, and HR colleagues across specialist functions to help build an effective and future-ready organization. Your team has 7 HRBP's in total.
