Senior Manager Global Total Rewards

At Rituals, we believe meaningful rewards contribute to a happy and engaged workforce. As Senior Manager Global Total Rewards, you translate new European pay legislation into practical, fair and transparent reward practice, and you make sure it lasts. 

This role sits at the heart of our reward agenda. You take ownership of our CSRD pay reporting and our EU Pay Transparency Directive implementation, and you design the governance that keeps both robust year after year. Alongside this, you co-lead our global salary and performance review cycle and contribute to the projects on our reward roadmap, from compensation philosophy and pay differentiation to benefits and total reward transparency. 

You work closely with a team of Global Rewards Specialist and report to the Head of Global Compensation & Benefits. Together you act as trusted advisors to the business, HR, Finance and senior leadership. 

YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES

As a Senior Manager Global Total Rewards, you will:

• Deliver our CSRD pay reporting: definitions, data quality, analysis and timely delivery.
• Support the EUPTD implementation and help embed it in our ways of working, together with HR, Legal and local countries.
• Contribute to the design of our global recognition programme and support its rollout.
• Contribute to the redesign of our variable pay, bringing market insight and analysis into the design choices.
• Run the benchmarking cycle that prepares our global salary review, and support the review process itself — guidelines, communication and execution.
• Maintain the policies, guidelines and documentation behind our reward decisions, and flag where they need to evolve.
• Deliver total reward statements, working with countries to collect, validate and align the underlying data.
• Prepare clear, data-driven recommendations for senior leadership.
• Develop policy documents and guidelines that managers and employees find easy to use.
• Support adoption of new reward initiatives through clear communication.

You are high on energy, low on ego, and with a little bit of humour while you enjoy turning complex regulation into something people actually understand. You are as comfortable in the detail as you are explaining it to a country HR lead. With your stakeholder management skills, you bring people along - explaining not just what we are doing, but why it matters. 

• You bring 8+ years of experience in compensation & benefits, reward consultancy or a comparable international reward role, including annual salary and performance review cycles in international organisations.
• You successfully deliver global reward projects or workstreams from design through implementation, developing policies, guidelines and supporting documentation that work across multiple countries.
• You bring expertise in at least three of the following areas: job architecture, compensation philosophy, executive remuneration, variable pay, recognition or benefits design.
• You have experience with pay transparency and pay reporting, ideally EUPTD and CSRD, including the underlying data analysis and reporting requirements.
• You are comfortable working across countries to gather, validate and align data, influencing stakeholders without formal authority and turning complex insights into clear recommendations.
• You are highly analytical, proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, and handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
• You are proactive, solution-oriented, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
• You reside in the Netherlands and enjoy working from our Amsterdam office overlooking the canals.
