Finance Transformation Specialist

As Finance Transformation Specialist, you will help shape how Finance enables the continued growth of Rituals. Joining our Finance Development team, you will work at the intersection of Finance, technology and business transformation, creating smarter, scalable and future-proof ways of working across the Finance department. In this role, you will lead improvement initiatives that simplify processes, strengthen controls and reduce repetitive work through automation and data-driven insights. From optimising Purchase-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash and Record-to-Report processes and supporting strategic business initiatives to identifying AI and automation opportunities, your work will have a visible impact across Finance and beyond. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from Finance, Tech & Data (IT), and representatives from different lines of business, acting as a trusted partner who connects business needs with practical solutions. In this role, you will:

You will experience the breadth of finance transformation work while also having the opportunity to see ideas through well into implementation and long-term measurable success and you will: 

• Support steering of the Finance portfolio, lead cross-functional Finance transformation projects from opportunity identification through implementation, adoption and measurable business impact. 
• Drive continuous improvement across full Finance department (Financial Control, FinOps, Payroll, Internal Control & Risk, Tax, Treasury) by helping teams identify, prioritise and realise process, system and automation opportunities.  
• Analyse Finance processes and data to uncover root causes, inefficiencies and scalable solutions that improve quality, efficiency and control. 
• Translate business needs into clear process designs, functional requirements and actionable initiatives for Finance, Tech & Data and implementation partners. 
• Identify and develop automation and AI use cases, as a citizen developer in collaboration with Tech & Data, to reduce manual work, improve decision-making and support future ways of working.

You bring

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Finance transformation, Finance consulting, Finance process improvement/excellence, Finance technology or as a Finance Business Analyst,. 
• A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting & Control, Economics or related discipline. 
• Strong understanding of Finance processes and data (including data analysis), supported by experience driving improvements within a Finance environment. 
• Experience leading projects, managing senior stakeholders, and translating business challenges into structured, actionable solutions. 
• Hands-on experience in (intelligent) automation and AI in the Finance domain.  
• Professional fluency in English. 

Experience with one or more of the following is considered an advantage: 

• ERP and P2P Finance systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Coupa (or other, like Oracle Cloud, SAP S/4HANA, etc.). 
• Data and reporting tools such as Power BI and Google BigQuery. 
• Automation platforms such as Power Automate, UiPath or similar low-code technologies. 
• Project and portfolio management tools such as Jira, Confluence or Asana.
