Are you a true retail professional? Love leading and coaching teams? Ready to run a Rituals shop like it’s your own?

You might be exactly who we’re looking for.

In the role of Store Manager, you’re the heart and soul of one of our smaller boutiques. With your leadership, the shop runs like a dream - from daily operations to big-picture planning and sales. You hire team members, coach them on the job, and create a workplace where everyone works as one.

Your formula? Happy team + smooth operations = great sales results.

What you’ll focus on

Build strong teams

  • Hire new talent and coach your team members to win as a team. With you around, talent grows, and sales numbers climb.
  • Get your team working perfectly. You know exactly when to use someone's strengths or when to challenge them with a new skill.

Manage operations & Spot opportunities

  • Handle day-to-day operations: from counting cash to managing stock, all while following our safety and style guidelines.
  • Spot opportunities, make plans that boost our sales, and keep customers happy and colleagues engaged.

Create amazing customer experiences

  • Build lasting customer connections by remembering faces, favourites, and sensing what newcomers will love.
  • Be a true brand ambassador by looking polished and professional, and paying attention to every detail that matters for a luxury boutique.

Bring all of you

Does this sound like you?

You have a similar level of leadership experience in retail, hospitality or cosmetics.

You're the perfect mix of a people’s person and business brain - you understand sales targets just as easily as you remember everyone’s birthday.

You're incredibly adaptable - switching from coaching a team member to jumping on the shop floor when it gets busy; you make it all come together.

You’re available to work during opening hours, which include evenings and weekends.

Benefits of working at Rituals

An extensive onboarding programme where we teach you everything about Rituals and your role with us.

Our famous, monthly Kick-Off (we ALL look forward to) where we check out new products, have workshops, evaluate numbers and make plans for the month ahead. Trust us, you'll love it.

Employee discounts, goodie bags, various wellbeing perks, and access to special events like our Rituals Live Event and the Global Rituals Brand Show.

Potential monthly bonus of 18% on top of your gross salary when shop targets are met.

All the growth opportunities. Think leadership programmes, our learning platform (called The Book of Rituals) and coaching on the job.

The application process

We’re doing things slightly differently - on purpose. That’s why we’ve designed our hiring process to be fair - and we hope, fun - with a focus on spotting your talent and potential. We’ve also put care into your experience, creating a journey that gives you a clear sense of what it’s like to work in a Rituals store. Please note you must already have the legal right to work in the UK. Here’s what to expect:

  1. Apply – No CV needed.

We care about who you are, not just what’s on your CV. Apply through our online application form or chat with Luna, our virtual recruiting assistant. No CV needed.

  2. Quick Check: Screening questions

Next, we’ll ask you a few quick screening questions to check if you meet some key requirements. It won’t take more than 1 minute.

    2
  3. Game Time! (Game-Based Assessment)

You’ll play a series of short (and fun) games lasting approximately 30 minutes in total. They help us understand how you think, solve problems, and work. No prep needed.

  4. The ‘Discovery’ of the role

Forget the standard interview; we’d rather let you experience the role. That’s why you’ll be invited to a so-called ‘Discovery’. During this Discovery, you’ll explore the store, meet the team, and show how you interact in real situations.

  5. Online interview

Time to dive deeper. In this online interview, we’ll explore your leadership experience, motivation, and give you a clear understanding of the role and expectations.

    5
  6. Job offer

Feeling good? So are we. If it’s a match, we’ll make you a job offer; clear, direct, and with everything you need to know.
