Sr. Visual Merchandise Specialist

Join our Format & Design team to shape award-winning store experiences worldwide and drive consistent customer journeys, while we globally expand.

Share your talents

As Sr. Visual Merchandise Specialist, you will play a key role in elevating the Rituals brand experience across our premium store network. As part of the VM Field Team, you will act as the connection between Head Office and our retail teams, ensuring Visual Merchandising standards are translated into inspiring and commercially successful store experiences. You will partner closely with Area Managers, Heads of Retail, local retail organisations and store teams while taking the lead in complex store openings, refits and visual merchandising projects.

This role offers a unique combination of autonomy, stakeholder exposure and coaching responsibility, giving you the opportunity to directly influence store performance and support the development of fellow Visual Merchandising professionals.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and oversee Visual Merchandising execution across premium store formats, ensuring the highest VM standards.
  • Visit and support stores across the Netherlands and an additional European region to improve in-store execution and store performance.
  • Drive visual merchandising improvements by identifying opportunities and coaching teams towards best-in-class execution.
  • Partner with Area Managers, Heads of Retail and local stakeholders to optimise customer experience and store presentation.
  • Coach and support VM Specialists I & II, sharing expertise and contributing to the development of the wider VM capability.

Bring all of you

Bring all of you

You are an experienced Visual Merchandising professional who enjoys working close to the business and creating impact through collaboration, expertise and coaching. You thrive in an independent role with a high degree of ownership and are energised by building relationships across different stakeholder groups. Your ability to balance operational excellence with commercial awareness allows you to create inspiring customer experiences while continuously raising the quality of Visual Merchandising execution. You are comfortable working in a field-based role and see travel as an exciting part of your week rather than a necessity.

This is you

  • Extensive Visual Merchandising experience, preferably in a field, area or multi-store retail environment.
  • Proven experience coaching, training or developing colleagues and store teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across different levels of the business.
  • Experience working independently and managing your own schedule, priorities and workload.
  • Fluent in English. Dutch language skills are a plus.

On top of this, you have:

  • Relevant education in Visual Merchandising, Retail, Design or equivalent experience.
  • Strong shopfloor Visual Merchandising expertise with a track record of driving execution and results.
  • Experience combining store-facing responsibilities with planning, coordination and stakeholder management activities.
  • Previous experience in Field Visual Merchandising, Area Visual Merchandising or a similar senior Visual Merchandising role.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel, spending approximately four days per week visiting stores across the Netherlands and potentially an additional European region.

Grow with us! The next steps are:

  • Apply via the careers site (make sure you meet the requirements and tell us why you apply).
  • Our recruitment team will contact you within 10 working days.
  • A first interview follows in our Central Head Office in Amsterdam.
  • You do an online assessment.
  • You have the second interview.
  • In the event of a positive outcome, you will receive a proposal with the terms of employment.

Please note that applications via e-mail and LinkedIn are not taken into consideration.
