At Rituals, we have set high ambitions to become the leading wellbeing brand in the luxury beauty industry. We put our heart and soul into everything to achieve this goal. We also care about the wellbeing of our colleagues as much as we care for our customers and the planet.

We offer our colleagues access to a wide range of wellbeing perks. We constantly strive to improve existing programs and regularly implement new ones. In this and future articles, we would like to showcase some of our most beloved wellbeing initiatives.

“Wellbeing Bingo” in the Nordic countries

Is it possible to work, have fun, and a challenge with prizes while nurturing wellbeing? Yes, with our Wellbeing Bingo. In Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland, employees received a bingo card with wellbeing actions to try out and pamper themselves. Completing the bingo card automatically entered them into a prize draw. Big shoutout to our Nordic colleagues for inventing such a unique and fun wellbeing initiative.

"Mental Health First Aiders" in the UK and Ireland

In this market, six shop managers and twelve office employees represent our mental health hero team. They support and safeguard mental health when needed and collaborate proactively with our local D&I team to deliver webinars on various mental health topics.

“Parents in Balance” in Benelux countries

It's great news when a baby is on the way, right?! To best guide the co-worker during their pregnancy, leave, and subsequent return to work, we sensitized our managers and implemented tools that contribute to the employee's wellbeing. For instance, all our colleagues in our shops and offices in The Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg can sign up for preventive consultations with the company doctor or schedule mindfulness sessions and mental advice conversations with our partner, OpenUp. Additionally, our managers offer regular meetings to check on their physical and psychological wellbeing during this period and if any work-related arrangements have to be taken into account.

“Urban Sports Club-cooperation” in Germany

We all love that fantastic feeling after a good sports session. To promote physical wellbeing, we offer all our employees in Germany a special and discounted membership to Urban Sports Club. This gives our colleagues access to a country-wide sports and wellbeing network with more than 6.000 offers, including gyms, yoga studios, saunas, dance courses, outdoor sports groups, and much more. It's incredible, right?
